Augusta Maine Notary Public Services:  How could it be any easier?

Affirmations provides clients with convenient and confidential Augusta Maine notary public services.  It is not necessary to use your lunch break, take time off from work or otherwise go out of your way to have a document notarized.  Elderly or housebound clients do not need to leave their homes (neither does anyone else).  I regularly travel to residences, long term care facilities, hospitals, places of employment, shopping centers, post offices, banks or any other location my clients request to meet at to notarize documents.

For Augusta Maine notary public services, simply call or email and I will make arrangements to meet with you at your convenience. Notarizations can often be scheduled immediately or within a few hours of calling.

Though most notarizations are done in Augusta and the surrounding communities, Affirmations is happy to make exceptions.

Remember to bring a valid photo identification with you to the signing and do not sign any documents prior to our meeting.

Keep in mind as well, there is no additional fee to have a document notarized during evening or weekend hours.

Some documents require signatures from witnesses in addition to the notary public.  This is common for a Last Will & Testament or Power of Attorney.  These witnesses should not be related to you and should not be listed as a beneficiary or agent of any sort in the documents.  If you are unable to secure witnesses, please let me know and I will try to assist you in locating acceptable witnesses.

Visit the Rates and FAQ’s pages for more information.

The State of Maine requires all notary publics who advertise their services to state the following:

“I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN MAINE AND MAY NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE ABOUT IMMIGRATION OR ANY OTHER LEGAL MATTER OR ACCEPT FEES FOR LEGAL ADVICE.”
